Microneedling Preparation & Aftercare

Yamany Dermatology | yamanydermatology.com

Microneedling stimulates collagen and elastin production through controlled micro-injuries (collagen induction therapy). It helps improve acne scars, fine lines, pores/texture, and uneven pigmentation. A topical anesthetic may be used. Redness and swelling (like a sunburn) are common for 1-3 days. Best results come with a series of treatments.

Microneedling may not be suitable if you:

Are pregnant or nursing
Have active infection, wounds, or irritated skin
Have active skin cancer in treatment area
